Vets on Riverbank

Equine & Farm Veterinary Services

Vets on Riverbank

With eight veterinarians, all very experienced in their own fields, our practice is able to provide quality medical and surgical care for all creatures great and small.

We are also very fortunate to have highly skilled nursing staff to make an exceptional team. At your property or in our modern companion animal, equine and large animal clinic, we can provide it all.

Our services include ultrasound, digital radiology, dentistry, surgery, reproduction, animal health and nutritional consultations, lameness diagnostics and puppy preschool.

We stock a spacious retail area to meet your small animal, equine or large animal needs including food, bedding, supplements and parasite control. Call in and visit us at 78 Riverbank Road, Otaki.

The Clinic on Riverbank Road, Otaki, was opened by Nan Simcox on 29th October, 2009.

Mission Statement

Our clients and patients are the heart of our practice and the reason we are here. We pledge to do our best to serve you and provide your pet, horse or farm animals with the very best veterinary care possible.

Important update regarding new clients – Updated 28/03/22

During the last few months the team at Vets On Riverbank have been finding it increasingly difficult to schedule appointments for our existing small animal clients.

We apologise for this and appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.

Due to this factor we have made the difficult decision that we will no longer be accepting new small animal clients.

This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but it is important for us to look after our staff and our existing clients.

We hope to be able to review this situation as soon as we can.

Thanks for your ongoing support and understanding.

The Team at Vets On Riverbank.
